Hi Folks, I am stuck in the center of Illinois, but was led to this website while perusing some fantastic wiring diagrams. I am primarily a street rodder, but recently purchased an arrest-me-red 1961 Falcon that was originally built by Doug Hampton of Salinas. It runs a very stout 351 stroker (408 c.i.), TC coil over front end with Granada discs, close-ratio top-loader 4 speed, leaf spring Ford 9-inch nodular iron 3.90 with posi and drum brakes. It is fitted with a bench seat, older Simpson four-point belts, roll-cage, and, strangely, 1998 Mustang Cobra R wheels. It apparently was constructed about 1998 and I have a dyno slip claiming 575 hp at 6500 and 537 ft.lb. at 5000. Much more fun than the 1960 coupe I drove to college.

Pictures are still up at http://www.oldride.com/classic_cars/824547.html. Although I didn't see his ad until later, the car was offered for sale on this forum.
